National Scrapbook Day

This and That

Well it's new week and another update. (I hope to keep this up)

First up. Flower Soft! We have had a lot of requests for this stuff so we finally got it in. Flower Soft can give anything that extra 'fuzzy' look that regular flocking just can't. And it is perfect for an extra touch of softness on words, borders, and images.

More Reminisce. For Easter Reminisce brings us Happy Easter. This cute collection features adorable bunnies and sweet little chicks. This collection is definitely perfect for that Easter Sunday egg hunt. Also from Reminisce is Unwritten. This collection has great colors and it features peace signs, which seem to be coming back on the scene.

For those finishing touches we have some new printed die cuts from Paper House. Travel, outdoor, pirates, and more. And let's not forget the American Crafts Cardstock packs. Brights, pastels, harvest, romance, Christmas, winter and even black and white. These packs of solid cardstock are great, and when you have trouble matching any of your American Crafts paper you can probably find something in one of these collections.

New New New

Well it's been a while hasn't it.

I want to apologize to anyone who has been waiting for an update. I have lots of stuff to share since I've been away.

New Stuff!
In no particular order.

Lucky Me from Reminisce and Lucky Me from Little Yellow Bicycle. (This might be the first time that I have seen the same name by two different companies at the same time. Weird!) Well if you are a fan of Green, like me, you will absolutely love these two collections. Lucky Me from Reminisce features double-sided papers that are just plain fun. And Lucky Me from Little Yellow Bicycle has some great embellishments, not to mention those amazing papers! *Hint* Click on the collection to go purchase them in our online store!

And we have also gotten in some fun Spring stuff! First Hippity Hoppity from We R Memory Keepers. This is a limited edition Easter collection that is exclusive to Independent retail stores. So you better get it while you can. And while not brand new it's still note worthy, Flutter from Making Memories. Bright and fun are the best words to describe this collection. With tons of flowers and fluttery bugs this collection is definitely a must have for this Spring!

What would a big product update be without some My Mind's Eye? Well I have some fun collections to share with you! First Lush. This collection is gorgeous! Some of you may be reminded of a similar collection a few years back, and you are right. But I would take a look, because this is an amazing collection. Let's not forget Life Stories. This is a new addition to some of the amazing heritage collections out there. My favorite thing about this collection would have to be the journaling cards. They are perfect finishing touches for just about any page.

Going Once Going Twice....

Well our first two auctions will be ending this Saturday.

Here is a closer look at some of the Mini Book pages.

This first one is the 'XOXO' Mini Book donated by Michelle Will. This book features We R Memory Keepers and is just adorable!
The I Heart You Mini Book was donated by Michelle Nees. It features a variety of Valentine collections and is an absolutely lovely book.
The bidding for these books ends at Noon on Saturday, so you won't want to miss out. You can give us a call to bid if you want.

We have also added two layouts. These baby layouts were donated by Michelle Will and feature Baby Safari from Little Yellow Bicycle. There is both a boy and girl layout which makes these layouts two separate auctions. The bidding for these layouts will end Monday, March 1st at 5 PM.
All the money that we earn will be going to Childhood Leukemia Research in honor of a sweet little girl that was just recently diagnosed.

First off:

New Stuff

All of the new Valentine's collections are out. Come in and see what we have from Making Memories, Basic Grey, Reminisce and more.

We have gotten tons of new clear stamps. Inkadinkado, American Crafts, and Kaiser Kraft, just to name a few. Oh and we put the clear stamps back up by company to make them easier to find.

Our Quickutz wall has gotten a major update. We now have the paper doll and road trip stuff out. Plus tons of new embossing folders.

Along with the D-ring albums that we got from American Crafts, we now have the ring albums from Making Memories back in stock.

Also from Basic Grey is the Origins collection (A class for this collection will be coming up in March)

And from American Crafts we have their Zing! embossing powder. This stuff is absolutely great. And we also got some of the Martha Stewart glitters as well.

Fundraising:

Kennady is a sweet little 5 year-old girl. She is a loved one of our family and just recently she was diagnosed with leukemia. Thankfully the doctors believe that they caught it early. Unfortunately no matter how early they caught it we can't take away this horrible disease. That is why we have decided to start raising money. In June the Rock 'n Roll San Diego Marathon to benefit Leukemia and Lymphoma is happening. The original plan was for her dad to run in her honor. Unfortunately due to his own fight with brain cancer he will not be able to run. But we are still going to raise the money so a family friend of his can run in her honor. We will raise the money for the entry fee and any additional money that can be raised as well. In these past couple of weeks we have been praying and hoping that the tests for Kennady's twin sister come back negative. It is one of the most heart breaking things knowing children are affected by these horrible diseases, but when it happens to a child close to you it can be one of the most crushing experiences in your life. We will be raising money in Kennady's honor (hopefully not her sister's as well) over the next few months.


We have started with our Be Mine Kits from Reminisce. These kits are worth over $60 and we will raffle 3 for this week and 3 for next week. Each ticket is $1 or get 6 tickets for $5.

Also starting this Friday we will begin our silent auctions. We have two Valentine Mini Books. The bidding on them will start at $10 and the minimum increment will be $2. Bidding will end Saturday, February 13th at Noon. Both books will be available so come in and take a look at them. Unfortunately due to the volume of bids that could be incoming we will not be able to accept any electronic bids. Please come in or call.

Also as I had announced before we would again like to ask for any and all donations for the upcoming auctions. If you want to make something to be auctioned get in touch with us. We will be having a special drawing for all those who donate something. If you are unsure of what to make feel free to give us a call and ask. We appreciate any and all help.

Classes!

Well we have some more classes happening.

First on Saturday, January 23 we are having a crop. From 1 pm - Midnight come in and crop crop crop.

For $10 you will get to scrapbook all day, we will provide treats, and you get a 10% discount during the crop.

Saturday, January 30th we have a layout featuring the new Sugar Rush from Basic Grey. For $23 you will get all of the product to make this double page layout plus some coordinating card.


Saturday, February 6th we have another layout and card class for My Mind's Eye Smitten collection. This layout is absolutely lovely.

More, More, More, MORE!!

Well it's a new year. I hope everyone had a great holiday. Michelle and I were up in Boise for Christmas with our parents. It was a lot of fun. My mom got herself a Wii and Trevor and I had an absolute blast while everyone else was out. And of course Christmas day Trevor and I built Lego sets. He got a really big one that builds different rescue vehicles, and we built the helicopter.

Anyways, back to the store. I'm sure everyone has missed us.

First thing is first.

We are having a STORE WIDE SALE!! From January 8th (tomorrow) to January 16th the entire store will be 35% off* And you definitely want to come in because there will be some additional discounts too!

Now onto the NEW Stuff!

Brads, brads and buttons! We have a whole new shipment of American Crafts Brads and Buttons. These packs have great colors and they coordinate for an entire series of 3 different sized plain brads, pearl brads, plain buttons, and glitter buttons.

Reminisce over the years has had a lot of fun stuff. But I don't anything is quite as adorable as these two new lines. You can have fun with adorable little monsters. And perfect for those of us in Idaho, they have come out with the absolutely most adorable farm collection. Two collections that are sure to make you smile.

Also from American Crafts we have two new collections. Blue Skies and Junior. Blue skies is a lovely collection with flowers galore, and some adorable little animals too. Junior (if the name doesn't give it away) is a bright fun collection perfect for those little boys. It's even perfect for those older boys too.

Of course since American Crafts has come we have re-stocked out D-ring Binder Albums. Some great colors and styles. We have the plain cloth and some leather as well as the albums that have a board cover so you can make your own. Also they came out with some new patterned albums (pictured) There is definitely one of these that you will love.

Our most recent new collection is Vintage Findings from Making Memories. This collection is amazing, with more than a dozen different embellishment kits you can make a small gift or find those perfect pieces to add finishing touches to your pages. And just check out that paper. Specialty and regular finishes make this a very diverse and unique collection.

What would a big release be without some My Mind's Eye? Well we came across Penny Lane. Now this is a collection that I didn't think we even had. But we finally got out from under the dozens and dozens of boxes from EK Success and American Crafts, and there it was. I personally love this collection. Definately great for sweet little girls and Spring time (which I'm sure everyone is ready for after all this cold).

One final thing we have a mini class scheduled for the last day of our sale.
The 16th at 1 pm. For only $5.99 you can make this adorable winter fold out album. We have a limited number of kits so sign-up as soon as you can!
